About BIG BLESSED

Big Blessed was born and raised in the East End of Richmond, Virginia. He first picked up a pencil at the age of 4 while trying to imitate older cousins who at the time drew different comics and animations. Once an elementary student, he immediately clicked to Art Class, discovering that God had blessed him with a unique talent. In high school, success and recognition came quickly as he won the National Scholastics Art & Writing silver key award as well as placed 1st in the Richmond-Times Dispatch Art Show. Also in high school, he was introduced to FL Studio by a classmate. He immediately fell in love with music production because it reminded him of physical art; Only difference being he now painted pictures through music instead of on paper. After high school, He decided to further his education at Old Dominion University. While at ODU he continued to study different forms of art, fashion, and music. He also learned basic music engineering by completing “Pro-Tools” courses. With-in months, he linked with a childhood friend to form Cash-In Entertainment (CIE); The group would go on to create one of the biggest music influences in the city of Richmond, Va. Just after his sophomore year, he decided to drop-out of college. For the next years, Big Blessed would fill commission inquiries such as murals, custom sneakers, portraits, clothing alterations, etc. But for the most part, had to put his talents and creativity to the back while focusing on feeding and providing for his family.

Here in 2022, Big Blessed is back; more focused and ready than ever. He would like to express his views and thoughts of current events around the world using his art and creativity. So whether he has to do that through canvas art, crafts, music, or fashion, he will get his point across. BB is hoping 1 or all of his talented outlets can BLESS people of all colors and kinds.
